About the event

When was the last time you celebrated yourself?

Celebrating yourself is being proud of the person you are now, not your future self, and not the person you wish to be. It is about accepting, encouraging, and empowering yourself in the current moment. Here's the thing, you can celebrate who you are right now and for any reason.

Many of us don't celebrate our wins because we feel it's bragging. That it's not polite, it's not humble.

However, celebrating ourselves has nothing to do with what other people think. It's YOU celebrating YOU. It's you celebrating your wins, how hard you worked, and the progress you've made to become you.

Celebrating YOU enables us to enjoy the journey, be grateful, and helps us increase our confidence. It has nothing to do with being boastful. Instead, it's about appreciating your journey to becoming you.

Amy Yip is a certified Life Transformation and Mental Fitness Coach, Speaker, and Facilitator. She works with leaders worldwide to let go of the ‘shoulds’ and write the narrative they want to tell as the author of their own life stories. After 16+ years leading global teams at organizations like Google, Booz Allen, and Clorox, Amy left the corporate world, sold all her belongings in her NYC apartment, and took a 1-way flight to Ghana with her husband, volunteering at a breast cancer non-profit. The plan was to volunteer until May and then travel the world. COVID had different plans for her! She ended up getting stuck in Ghana for 7 months. Mental Fitness helped her find the courage to pursue her dreams, pivot her dreams during COVID, and discover the gift and opportunities in every circumstance.

Let's Talk is a bi-weekly conversation with leading executives, thought leaders, and changemakers. There are no presentations or talking heads, just people having a conversation about career, family, and what matters the most to them.

It doesn't have to be lonely at the top.
